The Role
We’re looking for a Social & Influencer Lead to help build and grow Hound’s social offering. This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with our PR teams to turn great stories into social-first campaigns and creator partnerships that drive real impact. Social is an increasingly important part of how brands communicate, and we’re looking for someone who can help us evolve how we use it across our client portfolio - making it a natural extension of our PR work. You’ll work directly with clients, account teams and creators to bring ideas to life, while helping shape how social develops within the agency. As the capability grows, this role has the opportunity to evolve into a Head of Social position, building and leading a team of specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Strategy & Campaign Development
- Work with PR teams to translate campaign ideas into social-first activations
- Develop social strategies and content plans for client campaigns
- Ensure social plays a meaningful role in integrated PR programmes
- Creator & Influencer Partnerships
- Lead influencer and creator thinking across campaigns
- Identify and build relationships with relevant creators
- Shape briefs and oversee content development to ensure authenticity and impact
- Delivery & Execution
- Be hands-on in the creation and rollout of social campaigns
- Work with account teams to ensure social activity is executed smoothly and effectively
- Help turn media moments into social content that amplifies reach and engagement
- Client Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on social, content and creator strategy
- Help clients understand how social can support broader communications goals
- Growth & Opportunity Spotting
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client programmes with social and influencer activity
- Support new business with strong social and creator-led thinking
- Help develop Hound’s social offering as part of our broader PR capability
- Performance & Learning
- Review campaign performance and content engagement
- Identify what’s working and apply those learnings to future campaigns
- Keep up to date with platform trends, creator culture and emerging opportunities
About You
- 4-6 years' experience in social, influencer or integrated communications
- Agency experience in PR, social or integrated marketing is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of how social and creator activity supports brand storytelling
- Experience working with influencers or creators on campaigns
- Comfortable working directly with clients and advising on strategy
- Equally happy shaping ideas and getting stuck into delivery
- Good instinct for what will land culturally and socially
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving team
