Houlihan Lokey is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Summer Intern to join the IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) / Cybersecurity team in our London office. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to cybersecurity risk management, regulatory compliance, and information security practices within a global financial services environment. The intern will support initiatives related to information security risk management, policy development, vendor risk, regulatory requirements, and security awareness, working closely with IT GRC, Information Security, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the IT GRC and Information Security teams with cybersecurity risk management, including documentation and evidence collection.
- Support governance and compliance activities aligned with frameworks such as DORA and SOX.
- Help maintain and update information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Participate in vendor risk management activities, including questionnaire reviews.
- Support regulatory and audit readiness, including internal and external audits.
- Assist with cybersecurity metrics, reporting, and dashboards.
- Contribute to security awareness initiatives and training materials.
- Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with global IT and security teams across the regions.
