The Healthcare team at Houlihan Lokey are looking to add a Senior Associate/Vice President in London. The environment at Houlihan Lokey is both collegial and entrepreneurial. Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute M&A transactions.
- Develop and review financial models including database systems.
- Coordinate and perform business due diligence.
- Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentations.
- Manage, mentor and develop the junior team.
- Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors.
- Act as a key client contact on transactions, leading client meetings and playing a significant role in pitches.
- Assist in initiating and extending group marketing and client development efforts.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Strong academic track record with a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent).
- 5 - 7 years of investment banking experience within an M&A advisory.
- Prior experience, market knowledge, or strong demonstrable interest in the Healthcare sector is highly advantageous.
- Advanced financial modelling capabilities, with demonstrated expertise in LBO, DCF, merger consequence, and three-statement operating models.
- Deep understanding of core financial valuation methodologies and their practical applications.
- Thorough command of financial statement analysis, including the ability to critically evaluate underlying assumptions, caveats, and limitations.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills to evaluate companies, sector dynamics, and market trends.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Fluency in German language also preferable.
- Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of staff in a demanding environment.
