Our Financial Sponsors Coverage Group in London is looking for an off-cycle intern to join the team for 6 months. This is an opportunity to build your knowledge of advisory services in Investment Banking and see how capital providers such as Private Equity, Credit/ Hedge funds operate in the market.
Responsibilities:- Work with experienced senior coverage officers to provide business unit analytics and coverage officer support on client initiatives.
- Coordinate potential buyers lists and details for advisory pitches, data maintenance, attending internal and external meetings, and preparing ad hoc reports, analyses, and marketing materials.

Qualifications:- Strong academic track record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
- A demonstrated interest in Financial Sponsors and Credit hedge funds
- Self-motivation and the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a fast-paced, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
- An understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
- Strong Excel modelling skills, including LBO and DCF
- An exceptionally strong work ethic
