THE OPPORTUNITY
Houlihan Lokey is continuing its rapid expansion across Europe. We are seeking a high-performing Editorial Executive to join our Marketing team in London and play a key role in maintaining the quality, accuracy, and strategic messaging of the firm’s marketing materials. This position sits at the centre of our global marketing and communications efforts, partnering closely with Marketing colleagues across Europe and the U.S. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Houlihan Lokey communicates its expertise across multiple industries and markets.
The ideal candidate brings strong editorial judgement, exceptional attention to detail, and experience working within fast-paced, professional services environments. Based in our London office, this role reports to the Global Senior Associate, Marketing Operations, and works closely with colleagues across our global platform.

YOUR IMPACT AND ROLE
As a key figure in our marketing function, you will make a significant impact on the overall marketing efforts. Your core day-to-day responsibilities and tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Support the editorial workflow globally and use independent discretion in the development of editorial content for marketing purposes.
- Edit marketing materials/collateral (e.g., emails, presentations, white papers, reports, conference/event collateral, bios, webinars, press releases, boilerplates, disclaimers, firm website, article reprints, etc.).
- Serve as an interdepartmental liaison on editorial functions and compliance standards, providing direction to multiple projects while ensuring accuracy, consistency, tone, and compliance of content.
- Assist with the development and consistency of editorial content; maintain editorial procedures as noted in the firm’s manual(s) and in-house style guide.
- Manage all tasks and disseminate all updates related to Monday, the department’s project management software.
- Provide final editorial approval for Marketing advertising and sales literature (including websites) in a timely manner according to production schedule.
- Review templates and disclaimers for various ads/marketing materials for currency and relevance.
- Assist the web development team with website updates.

We are seeking a detail-oriented editorial professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of written communication. The ideal candidate will be:
- A Skilled Editorial Professional: You bring at least 2–3 years of editorial experience and possess exceptional writing and editing abilities. You have strong familiarity with The Associated Press Stylebook and understand the nuances between U.K. and U.S. English. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
- An Editorial Quality Champion: You have a meticulous eye for detail and take pride in ensuring marketing materials—across print, web, email, and multimedia—meet the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- An Agile Project Partner: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to maintain an efficient pace while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your strong organisational skills allow you to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- A Collaborative Global Partner: You are comfortable working cross-functionally with project managers, event teams, and Compliance, and can operate effectively within a global organisation supporting multiple lines of business.
- A Trusted Professional: You demonstrate sound judgement and integrity when handling highly confidential information, maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
- A Digitally Fluent Editor: You are highly proficient with Microsoft Office, internet applications, and AI-enabled tools that support editorial workflows and content production.
- A Financial Services Communicator (Preferred): Experience within financial or professional services—particularly investment banking—is highly valued. Familiarity with investment banking terminology, regulatory considerations, or compliance workflows is a strong advantage. FINRA licensure (Series 24, 63, or 79), or willingness to pursue licensure, is strongly preferred.
