We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Interim Leave of Absence Process Manager to join our Global Benefits team for a 9-month fixed term contract. This critical role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and building comprehensive and compliant leave of absence policies and procedures across our EMEA and APAC locations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international labor laws and leave regulations, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and a passion for creating equitable and culturally sensitive workplace policies.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze international labor laws and leave regulations across various countries and regions where the company operates.
  • Develop and revise company leave of absence policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable international laws and best practices, while also considering cultural nuances and local customs.
  • Collaborate with internal legal counsel to review and approve leave of absence policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to international leave of absence policies, including policy manuals, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Develop and deliver internal guidance to benefits, payroll and other HCG team members for accurate administration of policies and guidelines.
  • Manage the implementation of new and revised international leave of absence policies, including communication and change management efforts, tailored to each region.
  • Partner with HRIS and Global Payroll teams to ensure accurate tracking and administration of leave of absence requests across different systems and countries.
  • Support the full buildout of leaves of absence in Workday and all applicable testing of requirements and parameters to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform other duties in support of broader leave of absence related projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 + years’ experience in Human Resources, benefits and/or leaves of absence.
  • Deep understanding of international labor laws and leave of absence regulations across multiple regions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing international policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage large scale projects as well as all related tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to navigate diverse work environments.
  • Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Financial or Professional Services firm.
  • CIPD qualification.
  • Global HR certification or equivalent.
