Location: Southwest England (must live local to Bristol / Chippenham / Swindon)
Work Schedule: Remote with travel to client sites when required
Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000
Commission: Uncapped (up to 15% of GP against anything you close)
A long-standing IT Service Provider with several locations across the UK is looking for an experienced Account Manager to further bolster their existing sales team. You will be at the forefront of the company’s customer retention plans aiming to keep existing clients using their services and tech, whilst upselling new products and services where possible. There is an uncapped commission structure in place which allows huge earning potential for this level of role. The team works primarily from home with an office nearby should you wish to pop in from time to time, but no pressure to do so! There will be an element of travel to customer sites, the majority being based locally in the Southwest of England, yet this will not be extensive.
Key Duties
- Undertaking regular check ins with existing customers to ensure satisfaction levels remain high
- Discovery and creation of quotes and proposals through phone, email & meetings
- Operating as the main point of contact for your client portfolio
- Building continuous business relationships and developing them
- Renegotiating existing contracts and renewals to maintain existing business
Key Skills
- 3+ years experience in an Account Management position at an ISP/MSP/IT Reseller/VAR
- Knowledge of key IT vendors and their products (Dell, Lenovo, Redstor, Veeam and Microsoft etc.)
- Experience owning the post-sales customers journey
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to various audiences, including executives
