A leading business within the print industry is looking to add to their team with an Artworker. Their clients vary in sector from sports, lifestyle, events and retail, and they are seeking an experienced Artworker who will prepare artwork for print.
They specialise in large format printing/signage, so experience in this is essential.
Responsibilities Include:- Prepare and adapt client artwork for large format printing, ensuring files are print-ready with the correct scaling, colour profiles, and resolution.
- Check files thoroughly for any errors or inconsistencies and make necessary amendments to meet print specifications.
- Keep updated on the latest trends and best practices in large format printing and pre-press processes.
- Manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Coordinate finishing tasks such as cutting, laminating, and mounting to ensure printed materials are fully prepared for delivery or setup.
- Experience in a studio artworker or pre-press role within the large format print industry.
- Experience with pre-press for signage.
- Strong experience in large format graphics file prep.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Understanding of large format printing processes, including colour management, scaling, and pre-press preparation.
