Consulting is being agentified. The $300B insights industry is about to be rebuilt by AI agents that don't just report what happened — they tell brands what to do next and execute it. Hotspex has spent 25 years measuring what the world's biggest brands make people feel — over 1M interviews, 800+ brands, 33 countries, validated at P&G, Coca-Cola, Unilever, RBC, TELUS. Now we're weaponizing that dataset with AI. This is the Agentification of Consulting — and we're riding the front of the wave.
We need a Full Stack Engineer in Toronto who wants to build what comes next. You'll ship enterprise-grade AI products to Fortune 100 CMOs — and you'll see your work in boardrooms within weeks, not quarters.
- Agent-powered brand intelligence platforms — autonomous systems that ingest research data, generate strategic recommendations, and deliver them directly to the world's largest advertisers
- Top of Model™ — our proprietary platform measuring how brands rank inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. We're defining an entirely new category of brand measurement for the AI era
- BrandSpace — a self-serve SaaS platform putting 25 years of enterprise-grade emotional brand science into the hands of every marketer
- MCP server integrations and agentic tool chains — exposing our Human Motivation Framework as API-accessible AI tools that plug into Claude, Adobe, and enterprise martech stacks
- Client-facing interactive products — brand simulators, revenue growth models, and AI-powered proposal systems that win seven-figure engagements
You can go from a rough CEO brief on Monday to a shipped product by Friday.
Full-stack fluency — React, Node, Python, modern deployment (Vercel/Netlify, Supabase, serverless).
AI-native — you've built with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, you understand tool use, embeddings, MCP, and agentic workflows. Claude Code proficiency is essential — we build with it daily and we'll want to see examples of what you've shipped with it.
Genuinely interested in marketing and brand strategy — you want to understand why a campaign moves a brand, not just render the dashboard.
Stock options — you'll have equity upside in a company that's been profitable for 25 years and is now scaling its AI product suite into a category-defining SaaS business.
Fortune 100 clients from day one — your code ships to RBC, global CPG, major broadcasters, and government. AI isn't a feature — it's the entire product thesis — every tool, methodology, and deliverable at Hotspex is being agentified. You'll be at the centre of that transformation.
You're building on top of the Human Motivation Framework — 177 personality attributes, 96 emotions, 8 motivational zones — a dataset most AI startups would kill for. Your decisions ship.
Proficient in front-end development: HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
Skilled in back-end development: server-side languages, database management, API design.
Proven full-stack delivery — end-to-end ownership from architecture to deployment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with agile workflows and Git-based version control.
Excellent problem-solving instincts with a bias toward performance and scalability.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred — but shipped work matters more than credentials.
GitHub repos, shipped products, side projects, agent builds. If you've built something AI-powered that actually works in production, lead with that.
