This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. Our office is within walking distance of the train station and has free parking. This is a full-time position; however work life balance is important to us and so we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).

Salary: ÂŁ25,000 p.a. + bonus

About The Role

You will play a key role in maintaining effective communication with our international hoteliers and suppliers, ensuring the seamless operation of our holiday services. With your passion for travel, you\’ll help curate exceptional experiences for our customers while using our core reservations system (Mythos). Collaborating with various departments across the business, you\’ll ensure that suppliers are consistently updated with accurate and timely booking information, contributing to smooth and memorable travel experiences for all.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with hoteliers and suppliers to ensure seamless booking confirmations and alignment of system availability.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with hoteliers, suppliers, and contractors to support collaboration, promptly address queries, and proactively prevent future issues.
  • Oversee system maintenance, including managing availability and controlling the messaging system to ensure accurate and relevant notifications are sent.
  • Support the Reservations team with availability requests outside of the system to meet customer needs.
  • Book pre-arranged holiday extras via third-party websites and update internal systems with accurate reference numbers and details.

Qualifications

  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact effectively with hoteliers and suppliers via email and telephone.
  • Proven ability to handle challenging situations with a calm, solution-focused approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage workload efficiently during both peak and quiet periods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
  • Experience of working with database systems.
  • Knowledge of a travel reservation system will be an advantage.
  • European language skills would be an advantage, though not essential for the role.
