Ecommerce Manager – Inghams and Santa\’s Lapland

This role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire with 2 days per week in the office. This is a full‑time position; we support flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week). Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 p.a. + bonus.
Fixed‑term contract for 12 months (maternity cover).
You will work with the Digital Transformation Lead to take responsibility for the delivery of the e‑commerce strategy and KPIs for our two exceptional brands; Inghams and Santa’s Lapland. In this role you will create a best‑in‑class online customer journey and user experience, drive direct bookings and conversion‑rate optimisation, and achieve e‑commerce performance aligned with business goals. You will leverage insights, monitor and analyse website performance and oversee the delivery of self‑serve reporting, and develop and execute online trading strategies and product merchandising campaigns. You will be supported by an e‑commerce executive and will collaborate with a matrix of marketing channel specialists and the product team to successfully execute brand campaigns and projects.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the online environment and e‑commerce best practices.
- Strong experience designing and managing A/B and multivariate tests from hypothesis to implementation and analysis.
- Proficient in GA4, Excel and other analytical tools for data‑driven decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable results in a digital environment.
- Practical experience with HTML/CSS and CMS platforms, preferably Umbraco.
- Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and how organic strategy supports each stage.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
- Self‑motivated and motivated, with strong people skills and leadership qualities.
- Technically astute, detail‑oriented, and creatively minded with a problem‑solving approach.
- Results‑driven, focused on continuous improvement and delivering commercial impact.
