Mercure & ibis London Earls Court and Barnaby’s Restaurant & Bar provide guests with a warm welcome, spacious and comfortable accommodation with breath-taking views of the London skyline currently in the exciting process of a refurbishment with the aim to shift our hotel to a four-star hotel and new branding.

Our new goal is to find the right candidates to be part of this amazing project to help us during the evolution to become a modern, stylish and innovative 12-storey hotel.

The hotel is about to undergo a very unique project resulting in a dual branding stylish and modern hotel with a combination of 3* and 4* product.

Job Description

  • POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Department: Food and Beverage
  • Full-time

Providing a warm welcome to guests and taking hot beverage orders and snacks will be at the heart of what you do.

You will use your excellent customer service skills to give guests an experience that they are sure to remember!

  • This is a full-time position (weekends included)
  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcoming the guests to our new F&B outlets & providing efficient, friendly, and professional service
  • Conveying the hotel's image through his/her attitude, professionalism and excellent grooming standards
  • Communicating proficiently in English (spoken and written) with guests
  • Preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails and coffees
  • Good knowledge of our products
  • Take responsibility for your designated section and station
  • Ensuring that the F&B area remains well stocked at all times
  • Receiving and processing customers' payments
  • Making sure ingredient labels are visible in all stations
  • Cleaning and sanitizing tables
  • Taking a positive problem-solving approach to guest problems and concerns
  • Actively selling and promoting hotel facilities and services
