Who we are?

The Best Western Signature Collection, Southcrest Manor Hotel, is a 71-bedroom hotel set in its own extensive private grounds in Redditch, with excellent road links to the M42, M40 and M5. The hotel offers meeting facilities, a Laura Ashley tearoom, Laura Ashley designed restaurant and bar, and a small health club with gym and Elemis treatment areas.

The Opportunity

An exciting Head Housekeeper opportunity has arisen to join our friendly hotel for either an experienced housekeeper, or someone currently supervising looking for their next step. Working patterns are between 30-35 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends.

About your roles as a Head Housekeeper:

  • You will successfully oversee the entire housekeeping operation daily, being responsible for ensuring impeccable standards of cleanliness, and attention to detail, in our guest bedrooms and public areas.
  • Supervising a team and assisting when necessary.
  • Ensuring all daily tasks are completed.
  • Successfully plan and execute short and long-term deep cleaning schedules
  • Liaising with other departments.

What you need to apply for the Head Housekeeper Position:

  • Previous management or supervisory work experience, ideally from a hotel background.
  • A desire to create a positive experience for our guests.
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team.
  • Great communication skills
  • The ability to get things done in a timely and organised way.
