A Day in Your Neighbourhood
- Deliver exceptional wellbeing experiences: Perform luxury spa treatments and consultations to the highest professional standards, creating personalised journeys for every guest.
- Lead by example: Act as a role model for service excellence, professionalism, presentation, and wellbeing expertise across the spa team.
- Support and develop the team: Coach, mentor and motivate Spa Therapists and Spa Attendants, helping them achieve their potential while maintaining treatment consistency and service standards.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and clear communication when delegating duties to therapists and spa attendants, ensuring the highest standards of the spa and its facilities are consistently maintained.
- Elevate the guest journey: Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome, expert guidance, and a seamless experience from arrival through to departure.
- Drive commercial success: Promote treatments, retail products, memberships, and wellbeing experiences with confidence, helping maximise guest satisfaction and departmental performance.
- Maintain luxury standards: Ensure treatment rooms, relaxation areas, equipment, and guest facilities remain immaculate, fully stocked, and operational at all times.
- Ensure retail and professional products are fully stocked, complete monthly inventory checks, and work closely with the spa leadership team to ensure accurate stock recording.
- Support operational excellence: Assist with scheduling team rotas, managing timesheets, overseeing booking systems, stock management, daily reporting, VIP experiences, wellness events, and operational leadership in the absence of the Director of Spa & Wellbeing.
What's Your Story?
You're a talented therapist, natural leader, and passionate advocate for wellbeing. You'll thrive in this Head Therapist role if you bring:
- Previous experience as a Senior Therapist, Head Therapist, or Spa Supervisor within a luxury spa, wellness destination, or premium hospitality environment
- A recognised spa therapy qualification (CIDESCO, CIBTAC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of luxury treatments, skincare products, and holistic wellbeing practices
- Experience coaching and developing therapists to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- A genuine passion for personalised service and creating memorable moments
- Commercial awareness with confidence in retail sales, memberships, and upselling opportunities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health & safety, hygiene, COSHH, and spa operational standards
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
