A Day in Your Neighbourhood
- Process with precision – Raise and issue accurate invoices. Handle no-show charges, cancellations and guest account queries.
- Keep it reconciled – Manage UK and international commissions, reconcile booking.com charges, and support monthly commission accruals.
- Support compliance – Assist with intercompany invoices, month-end tasks, credit allocations, and financial risk assessments.
- Own guest and agent queries – Respond to invoice requests and billing issues quickly and professionally, ensuring smooth communication with travel agents, internal teams and guests.
- Teamwork in finance – Support the Finance Manager and wider team on ad hoc tasks, cover and month-end procedures as needed.
- Maintain standards – Ensure documentation is clear, accurate and filed in line with audit and internal control procedures.
What’s Your Story?
You’re a numbers-focused professional who values accuracy, organisation and teamwork. You’ll shine in this Accounts Assistant role if you bring:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role, ideally in a hotel environment
- Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Clear, courteous communication, whether it’s dealing with colleagues, suppliers or guests
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem solving
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively
