From mise-en-place to final plating, you'll be responsible for delivering quality, consistency, and creativity during each service. Guide and mentor Commis and Demi Chefs, ensuring smooth communication, clean stations, and high morale. Follow recipes and presentation specs, while meeting food hygiene and safety standards every step of the way. Monitor stock levels, place accurate orders, manage portion control, and reduce food waste. Report faults, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to keep operations running seamlessly.
You'll thrive in this Chef de Partie role if you have:
- Experience in a busy hotel or restaurant kitchen at Demi CDP or CDP level
- Knowledge of various sections (e.g. larder, sauce, garnish, pastry)
- Understanding of kitchen operations, food hygiene and safety procedures (including COSHH)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends
