We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our busy hotel kitchen.

This is a vital role within our team, helping to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised kitchen environment.
• Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the chefs.
• Dispose of waste and recycling safely and efficiently.
• Receive and store deliveries in line with food safety procedures.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and equipment.
• Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are followed.
• Support the kitchen team with general duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
