As an Events Manager, you will take ownership of the operational delivery of all events, ensuring every function runs seamlessly from set-up through to completion. Working closely with the Sales, Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, you will lead operational planning, manage event teams and ensure our guests receive an exceptional experience every time. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing leadership role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong operational knowledge and the ability to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the operational delivery of conferences, weddings, private events, banqueting functions and matchday hospitality.
- Manage event set-ups, room layouts and service delivery to ensure every event meets client expectations.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Events and Food & Beverage teams throughout each event.
- Act as the main operational contact during events, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Ensure excellent communication between the Events, Kitchen, Food & Beverage and Front Office teams.
- Monitor staffing levels, labour costs and productivity to maximise operational efficiency.
- Ensure all service standards, health & safety regulations and food safety procedures are consistently maintained.
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Support Duty Management responsibilities across the hotel when required.
- Deliver exceptional guest service while identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
