This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and eager to develop their culinary skills in a professional hotel environment. As a Commis Chef, you will support the senior chefs in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes while learning all aspects of kitchen operations. This is a casual role to support on match days and events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of fresh, high-quality food.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.
• Ensure all food hygiene, health, and safety procedures are followed.
• Keep kitchen workstations clean, organised, and well stocked.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
• Support all sections of the kitchen as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
• Willingness to learn and develop new culinary skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
