As a Commis Chef, you will support the senior chefs in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes while learning all aspects of kitchen operations.
This is a casual role to support on match days and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of fresh, high-quality food.
- Prepare ingredients, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.
- Ensure all food hygiene, health, and safety procedures are followed.
- Keep kitchen workstations clean, organised, and well stocked.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Support all sections of the kitchen as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Willingness to learn and develop new culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
