One Devonshire Gardens is set in a tree lined Victorian terrace in the fashionable West End of Glasgow. It is a step apart from the usual Hotel Du Vin standards and has an enviable reputation for service and style.
You will be an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chef, joining our dynamic kitchen team to support the delivery of high-quality dishes and exceptional dining experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to take the next step in their culinary career.
One Devonshire Gardens is a fantastic hotel with a 3 AA Rosette restaurant. Chefs from this kitchen have progressed in their careers to work in Michelin starred establishments. We offer a seasonally changing A la Carte menu reflecting the best that the local area offers, a 7 course Tasting Menu and an elegant Afternoon Tea all of which ensures your development across all areas of the kitchen.
As Commis Chef you will be required maintain standards of food hygiene and health and safety. You will have the opportunity to move around all sections of the kitchen in this role. Commis Chefs must be passionate about food and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests.
