Kitchen Crew Leader Moxy Aberdeen Airport

This position is based on a full time contract.

Gross Salary: £28974 per annum

How exciting would it be to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preparing the food for our guests and ensuring they leave with a great all round experience?

We are looking for someone to work in our kitchen operation at Moxy Aberdeen Airport. We are a busy hotel where guests are looking for quick but nutritious meals.

You don’t need to be a chef but you do need to have a passion for food, be organised, and be able to work under pressure.

Experience of Merry chefs would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prepare food using Merry chefs.
• Present food in line with brand standards.
• Preparation, set-up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food.
• Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organize BOH areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area.
• Full ownership of FIFO system (first in first out) of food items.
• Follow all food safety policies to work safely.
• Food handling according to HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures etc.).
• A positive attitude and ability to create a buzz in the kitchen.

• Clear communicator, fluent in English (and other languages a plus!).

Useful Experience

• Experience within the service industry.
• Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
• Personal experience of travel and travel industry.
