Groups and Reception Support – MOXY Birmingham
This position is based on a part-time (20 hours) contract.
Gross Salary: £13998 per year
Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced service-focused role.
Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Quoting and building blocks for simple and straightforward groups at hotel level.
- Manages the operational preparation for all group bookings once the group has been handed over to the hotel from the groups desk.
- Prepare for all group arrivals with relevant rooming lists, arrival envelopes and any specific information that has been requested by the client.
- Provide clear handovers to the team for all group bookings.
- Be sure all groups are paid before check-in.
- Maintains organized, accurate files on each group account and monitors the course of action for each account daily.
- Completes reservation checks for all individual reservations including, updating all third-party information. Ensuring all relevant alerts and routing are created.
- Ensure all pre-paid reservations and virtual cards have been charged.
- Ensure pre-arrival emails are sent to relevant guests.
- Schedule amenities as required.

- Experience within the service industry
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience of travel and travel industry
