Operations Manager – MOXY London Stratford

Join us as the Operations Manager for MOXY London Stratford, an exciting full‑time contract position at Hotel Co 51.

We’re looking for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a lively environment, rolling up sleeves and setting the pace from the front.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in all aspects of hotel management.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create positive guest experiences.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a team that delivers excellent service the Moxy way.
• Ensure profitable hotel operation in line with company goals.
• Manage team effectiveness and enforce company policies.
• Be actively involved in day‑to‑day team tasks.
• Apply strong food & beverage background; manage F&B operations.
• Manage hotel room inventory and guest check‑in/out.
• Maintain food safety, licensing and health & safety standards.
• Promote the Moxy brand and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years hotel management experience.
• Minimum 2 years team management experience.
• Experience with hotel property management systems (preferably Opera).
• Knowledge of POS systems (preferably Micros).
• Knowledge of food safety & licensing laws.
• Experience maintaining brand standards.
• Event management, marketing or social media experience is a plus.
• Personal experience of travel and the travel industry is desired.
• High energy, fearless do‑it‑yourself attitude.
• Good people skills and friendly with guests.
• Multitasking ability and great service orientation.
• Clear communicator, fluent in English; other languages a plus.
