Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Operate Food & Beverage outlets the Moxy way
- Prepare food, clean, tidy, restock, take deliveries and organize BOH areas
- Prepare the breakfast buffet
- Prepare the hotel for the following day
- Follow all food safety, licensing and health & safety policies to work safely
- Support other crewmembers and follow direction from crew leaders
- Help guests and create positive experiences
- Manage all bills and payments correctly
- Promote & support the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
- Run the night audit and balance the days accounts
- Manage hotel room inventory and check guests in/out the Moxy way
We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:
- Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
- Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
- Skilled multi-tasker who can balance hard work with great service
- Know being relaxed isn’t the same as being lazy
- Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
Useful Experience
- Experience within the service industry
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience of travel & travel industry
