Responsibilities- Prepare food using Merry chefs.
- Present food in line with brand standards.
- Preparation, set‑up, service, clean up and restocking of the appropriate prep areas of food.
- Place food orders and ensure food cost is in line with budgets.
- Restock, take deliveries, plan orders, and organise BOH areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area.
- Full ownership of FIFO system (first in first out) of food items.
- Follow all food safety policies to work safely.
- Follow HACCP regulations (product rotation, temperature maintenance and record keeping, storage procedures).
- Have a positive attitude and ability to create a buzz in the kitchen.
- High energy and fearless do‑it‑yourself attitude.
- Passionate about food.
- Skilled multi‑tasker who can balance hard work with great service and thinking ahead.
- Clear communicator, fluent in English (other languages a plus).
- Experience within the service industry.
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
- Personal experience of travel and the travel industry.
