The Person
The Multi Property Sales Manager Glasgow SEC is a commercially driven sales leader within the wider UK Sales team, responsible for generating business for Moxy Glasgow SEC and Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow SEC. This role focuses on driving demand across both SEC hotels by partnering with the Groups team, growing corporate accounts, securing agreements with local and national companies, and ensuring participation in relevant global travel programmes. A key part of the role is also to grow Meetings and Events business at Courtyard Glasgow SEC. You will work closely with Marriott Global Sales, Glasgow conference and events contacts, and Hotel Co 51 sales colleagues to target both global and local accounts across the transient, group corporate, and intermediary segments. You will support day-to-day sales activity, with a strong focus on building long-term, value-driven client relationships that help deliver the hotels’ revenue goals.
The Job
- Drive proactive sales activity across the assigned hotel portfolio, building strong relationships with new and existing clients to grow revenue across multiple market segments.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across corporate transient, group corporate, intermediary, and leisure markets, ensuring the right business is delivered to the right hotel.
- Develop and manage account plans for key local, national, and international clients, maximising share across the portfolio and increasing account production.
- Create and execute commercial plans for each property, aligning sales activity with revenue goals, market opportunities, and hotel-specific priorities.
- Work closely with Marriott Global Sales, Hotel Co 51 colleagues, on-property teams, and external partners to coordinate sales strategies and unlock multi-property opportunities.
- Conduct regular client-facing activity including sales calls, appointments, site visits, FAM trips, trade shows, and networking events to generate qualified business.
- Support hotel teams with pipeline management, forecasting, account insights, and local market intelligence to strengthen commercial decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to identify opportunities, protect market share, and keep the portfolio commercially competitive.
- Act as a key point of contact for managed accounts, ensuring a high standard of customer service and a smooth handover of business into the hotels.
- Use CRM tools including SFA Web to manage lead activity, track account performance, maintain accurate records, and support reporting.
- Represent the hotels and wider Hotel Co 51 portfolio with a visible, credible presence in the market, promoting cross-sell opportunities wherever relevant.
- Ensure all sales administration and booked business are managed efficiently, including proposals, contracts, client communication, and internal follow-up.
- Work with Marketing to align campaigns, messaging, and promotional activity with commercial priorities across the portfolio.
