The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

This position is based on a full time contract. Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced service focused role. Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Helping guests whilst creating positive experiences
  • Training team members to Moxy standards in both food and beverage and reception
  • Take the lead on food and beverage initiatives, ensuring that menus, tills and pricing are up to date
  • Ensuring profitability from a food and beverage perspective
  • To organise and prepare for monthly stock takes
  • Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely
  • Supervise accurate and efficient reception operations including check in/out procedures
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of the reception with an emphasis on training and teamwork
  • Ensure Team Members have updated knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and other general Marriott product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
  • Follow Moxy Marriott brand standards
  • Together with the team enroll new members for Marriott Bonvoy (loyalty program)
  • Ensure Marriott Metrics are met and exceeded
  • Although emphasis is on food and beverage, you will be duty manager and be expected to take the lead on shifts including reception

What We're Looking For (Moxie):

  • Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude
  • Good with people and enjoy chatting with guests
  • Skilled multi-tasker who can balance hard work with great service
  • Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)

Useful Experience:

  • Experience within the service industry
  • Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
  • Personal experience of travel and travel industry
