This position is based on a full-time contract.
Gross Salary: £13.62 per hour
We are looking for a confident communicator who is comfortable in a fast-paced, service-focused role. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and a team player, capable of creating a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Helping guests and creating positive experiences
- Managing hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out in the Moxy way
- Operating Food & Beverage outlets according to Moxy standards
- Managing all bills and payments accurately
- Preparing food, cleaning, tidying, restocking, taking deliveries, and organizing BOH areas
- Following all food safety, licensing, and health and safety policies to ensure safe working conditions
- Supporting other Crew Members and following directions from Crew Leaders
- Promoting and supporting the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which includes:
- High energy and a fearless, do-it-yourself attitude
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoyment in chatting with guests
- Ability to multitask effectively, balancing hard work with excellent service
- Understanding that being relaxed isn’t the same as being lazy
- Clear communication skills, fluent in English (additional languages are a plus!)
Useful Experience
- Experience in the service industry
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience with travel and the travel industry
