The Sales Executive for the South West UK area is a confident member of the Regional Sales team and acts as the primary contact between customers and hotels. You will conduct sales research, prospecting, handle administrative tasks, maximise revenue, build customer loyalty, and support the Regional Sales team. Based in the Bristol area, you will operate across the southwest and support three Moxy hotels, with travel to client sites or events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, qualify, respond to sales leads, and arrange appointments for the Regional Sales Manager, covering Moxy Bristol, Plymouth and Southampton hotels.
  • Prepare and finalise contracts to close sales transactions.
  • Join sales projects, executing activities that support the commercial direction of your hotels.
  • Create sales presentations, injecting your personality and our disruptive sales culture.
  • Join sales calls to engage with prospective and current clients.
  • Provide sales program/event coordination, reporting support, and/or general administrative support as needed.
  • Maintain a portfolio of telesales accounts and nurture client relationships.
  • Research and identify new leads.
  • Provide support for the Group reservations team, if needed.
  • Use our CRM, SFA Web, to manage leads and track performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging and promotional efforts.
  • Represent the hotels at local networking events, trade shows, and client meetings.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date lead response information and generate sales reports using multiple data systems.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as lead conversion rates, revenue contribution in the managed segments, and client engagement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Language requirements: Business proficient English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotels in Sales and Marketing, Group Reservations, Guest Services, or Front Desk; experience in select-service or lifestyle hotel brands is a plus; previous multi-property or cluster sales experience is advantageous.
  • Detailed and accurate in all duties; strong data handling skills.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication; able to work under own initiative.
  • Positive, entrepreneurial, and open-minded approach; creative and innovative in improving processes and driving results.
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); strong organizational and time management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
