We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic Head Chef at the AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness. The Head Chef will be leading the kitchen brigade at Beira, finalist of Scottish hotel awards 2026 in the best hotel restaurant category. Beira is an informal restaurant that prides itself on sourcing ingredients from within a 50-mile radius, supporting local farmers and producers, and delivering the freshest, highest-quality flavours, and being a true part of the local community. The kitchen brigade ensures delivery of daily breakfast in line with AC by Marriott brand standards, and all-day contemporary Scottish x tapas style dining at Beira.
Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen brigade and run kitchen service
- Order and manage stock control, ensuring food quality, safety and standards
- Develop menu offering, pricing, seasonality and creative concepts

- Has a real passion for food made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Is creative, flexible, and up to date with the food trends and products
Qualifications
- Fluent in English, and with unrestricted right to work in UK
- Must have prior senior chef experience in a similar environment
- Ability to use MS Office suite, and business appropriate (ordering, HR, brand) platforms
