The predicted salary is between 26500 - 27500 £ per year.
This position is based on a full time contract (latest finish at midnight). Gross salary: £12.77 per hour + amazing benefits.
As a Bartender at AC by Marriott Inverness you are responsible for the bar, you are also a host and advisor to our guests.
Responsibilities- Mise en place: Providing an accurate, timely and complete mise en place, such as checking bar and lobby area, ordering supplies and refilling stock. You work according to HACCP standard processes and regulations.
- Bartending: Welcoming guests, taking orders and providing information about drinks and food. Prepare or communicate orders and entertain guests. Open/close bar in line with best practice and SOPs.
- Cashiering: Starting up the cashier when opening and processing payments. Depositing revenue in the prescribed manner and controlling cash according to procedure.
- Cleaning: Maintaining the bar area in a presentable way and cleaning bar and equipment at end of shift. You will also be responsible for closing the bar at the end of the day.
- Others: Maintaining a good working relationship with direct colleagues and other departments. Teamwork, offering assistance where needed. Consistently ensuring a high quality of service and work. Attend departmental meetings and training if required. Maintaining a clean and well-groomed appearance as required by Marriott standards. Support bar lead with day-to-day bar operations.
- Experience in the same or similar leading role.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge about leading a team, bar menu engineering, cocktails and beers.
- Possession of bartender training certificates is a plus.
- You possess high levels of organisational skills and efficiency and you are able to work under pressure.
