As we continue our mission to make people and nature happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Wholesale Replenishment manager to join our Supply planning team on a fixed-term basis, for 12 months.
Our Wholesale Replenishment Manager is accountable for ensuring optimal stock availability across Wholesale selling partners; leading replenishment activities, balancing inventory investment with service level requirements while driving strong customer availability.
Our Wholesale Replenishment Manager drives process improvements with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships.
This is an exciting and pivotal role in the business, providing leadership and development to a small team of direct reports as well as working cross functionally throughout the business.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days - you can work from wherever you like! The on-site location for this role is our support office, ‘Mint House’, in Royston, Hertfordshire. Our home from the very beginning, it’s just off the A505 and 10 minutes’ walk from Royston train station, with direct rail links to London King’s Cross.
What you’ll be doing
- Own replenishment planning and execution across Wholesale selling partners ensuring optimum stock availability to deliver strong sales and profit.
- Line-manage and develop team members, providing coaching, performance feedback and clear direction.
- Manage maintenance and continuous improvement of replenishment parameters and processes within relevant business systems.
- Pro-actively identify and mitigate overstock,understock and BBE/shelf-life risks, working cross-functionally to minimise waste and markdown.
- Overseeing team activity to ensure Partner POs are fulfilled OTIF, meeting internal SLAsDeliver OTIF launch of seasonal ranges, new products, new store openings and promotional events.
- Provide performance and risk reporting, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement across replenishment processes, reporting, automation and workflow simplification.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Production, Warehouse, Account Managers, Finance, Demand Planning and external stakeholders as required.
- Responsible for internal customer service with selling channel stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Warehouse and Fulfilment colleagues to ensure business visibility of demand forecasting and resource requirements.
- Own replenishment inputs into the S&OE cycle, monitoring short-term demand and supply changes, escalating stock risks, and coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.
- Ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required by the business.
- Deputise for line manager as required.

Essential
- Experience leading and developing people.
- Experience in replenishment or supply chain planning.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to align operational teams.
- Strong prioritisation skills and comfortable operating in high-pressure trading environments.
- Able to identify and drive key profit indicators with proven success.
Desirable
- Ability to interpret and present complex data clearly, enabling action and influencing decisions.
- Continuous improvement approach to all activity.
- Experience within a vertically integrated supply chain.
- Ability to simplify complex processes and improve workflow efficiency.
- Strong commercial awareness of margin, stock risk and channel profitability.
- Experience in retail, supply chain or multichannel planning environments.
- Experience using replenishment systems, preferably PFA.
