We are looking for a Finance Analyst - Logistics to join our Finance Team on a permanent basis. The role supports financial reporting and operational performance analysis across the Fulfilment and Digital Transformation function.
Responsibilities
- Produce weekly cost estimates in collaboration with operational teams.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and compile reports on stock, labour costs, KPIs and variance analysis.
- Reconcile weekly estimates to monthly actuals, investigate variances and support continuous improvements in reporting accuracy and financial insight.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis to provide insight and help manage operational spend.
- Calculate accruals and prepayments for month-end process, including posting journals.
- Build and maintain advanced spreadsheets in Excel.
Qualifications
- Essential: Proven advanced Excel skills (e.g., SUMIF, SUMPRODUCT).
- Demonstrable experience working in an accounts department and using accounting packages.
- Thorough attention to detail and commitment to accurate reporting.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential data.
- Desirable: Experience with D365 accounting package.
- Logistics experience.
