Join to apply for the Ecommerce Content Executive role at Hotel Chocolat. As we continue our mission to make people and nature happy through chocolate, we’re looking for an Ecommerce Content Executive to join our Ecommerce team on a hybrid, full‑time basis.

In this creative and detail‑driven role, you’ll take ownership of on‑site content across our website and app, ensuring every page feels inspiring, visually engaging and easy to shop. With a strong gifting mindset and analytical approach, you’ll work closely with creative, marketing and trading teams to deliver best‑in‑class content that enhances customer journeys and supports business growth.

As well as a competitive salary and a range of company benefits, you’ll receive a 50% discount on all products, and a 70% discount for you and your guests when you stay at our Rabot Estate hideaway on the paradise island of Saint Lucia.

This is a hybrid role – you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days you can work from wherever you like! The on‑site location is our support office, Mint House, in Royston, Hertfordshire, just off the A505 and a 10‑minute walk from Royston train station, with direct rail links to London King’s Cross.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Ensuring all website and app content is accurate, relevant and aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
  • Working closely with Creative, Marketing and Campaign teams to optimise digital briefs and deliver consistent, best‑in‑class customer journeys.
  • Curating and updating gift guides, themed landing pages and homepage content for key seasonal events such as Easter, Mother’s Day and Christmas.
  • Analysing live performance data and producing post‑campaign “washups”, feeding insights back into future planning.
  • Using data and brand strategy to support a framework for conversion‑led content pages.
  • Ensuring strong on‑site visibility of content landing pages, supporting digital strategy and SEO objectives.
  • Partnering with the Ecommerce Trading team to ensure content and messaging are accurately reflected on site through imagery and copy.
  • Collaborating with the Ecommerce Creative team to ensure artwork is commercial, accessible and always mobile‑first.
  • Working with our app provider to deliver best‑in‑class visuals and experiences for our most loyal customers.
  • Supporting our journey towards a part‑composable digital ecosystem.
  • Supporting our omnichannel strategy, including Retail and Café content where required.
  • Regularly walking the site to proactively fix issues and recommend enhancements to the customer journey.
