As we continue our mission to make people happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Stock and Systems Administrator to join our Stock, Systems and Change Team on a permanent basis. As a Stock & System Administrator you will be responsible for conducting a schedule of Perpetual Inventory, carrying out thorough investigations into any stock discrepancies and reporting the results and root causes to the Stock & Systems Managers. By monitoring stock processes to ensure the control of materials and stock inventory, you will help to minimise any sales or financial impact, whilst also ensuring that products are returned to stock in a timely manner. You will be responsible for logging IT queries that arise, and periodic audits of hardware, escalating any issues to the Stock and Systems Managers in a timely manner.

Shift Pattern: operating on a rotating weekly shift pattern of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.
Salary: £15.40 per hour

The on‑site location for this role is at our Distribution Centre ‘Beta’, in Harpole, Northampton. We opened the doors to our impressive Distribution Centre – all 429,107 square feet of it - in October 2022. You will find us just off Junction 16 of the M1.
- Execute a schedule of Physical Inventory (PI) counts, ensuring that all areas of the Fulfilment Centre are counted within an agreed period
- Reporting any findings and obtaining authorisation of adjustments above a set value
- Monitoring of key stock integrity reports
- Support the preparation & execution of key stock takes
- Administrate delivery bookings, adjustments and filing of required paperwork
- Process Online, Retail and Production Returns
- Logging and maintaining IT queries with the relevant software/hardware providers
- First line support for system and stock related issues on site
- Coordinate and book in palletised deliveries to ensure a smooth flow of work throughout the day
- Communicate with on‑site colleagues to prioritise tasks, ensuring that customer requirements are met as efficiently as possible within planned resources
- Inbound and outbound administrative duties
- Improve stock record accuracy to help drive confidence in our processes
- Drive efficiency through reduced problem solving for the operational teams
- Improve availability to all channels helping the business to grow sales & improve brand image
- Keep engaged and aligned to short and medium‑term plans
- Look at ways we can innovate to reduce stock waste
WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU HAVE
- Experience in a stock & admin role using Microsoft Office packages
- Good knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
- Attention to detail and high-quality working standards
- Be comfortable and able to work at height – PI counts will be executed using a Scissor Lift
- Experience of working in a warehouse environment
- Holder of relevant MHE certificates - not compulsory, training will be provided
- Be always conscious of commercial implications
- Problem solving using a methodical approach
- Ability to influence & communicate with peers in a positive way to promote change
