Akasha Holistic & Wellbeing Spa, located within Hotel Café Royal, is a prestigious, award-winning spa in Central London. The spa features 6 treatment rooms, a Hammam, steam room, sauna, an 18-meter swimming pool, and a specialist Watsu pool. We also offer a gym and studio space for Pilates and yoga. Our luxurious facilities provide a range of treatments, including relaxing and deep tissue massages, body scrubs, full-body packages, and facials. Open daily from 7 am to 9 pm, Akasha caters to both hotel guests and external visitors, with two reception areas to welcome and assist them.
As a Spa Attendant at the luxurious Akasha Holistic & Wellbeing Spa within Hotel Café Royal, you will play an essential role in creating a serene and immaculate environment for our guests. Your dedication to cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional spa experience. You will work collaboratively with the spa team to provide thoughtful and attentive service, ensuring all guest needs are met with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of all spa areas, including treatment rooms, relaxation lounges, locker rooms, and wet facilities such as the sauna, steam room, and pool.
- Regularly replenish spa amenities, towels, and other supplies, ensuring they are consistently available and presented to the highest standard.
- Perform routine inspections of spa areas to address any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
- Welcome and assist guests, addressing any inquiries about the spa facilities, treatments, or services.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences to deliver personalized and attentive service.
- Work closely with therapists, receptionists, and other spa team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with the team to address guest feedback and ensure operational efficiency.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury spa, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of spa operations and a passion for wellness and wellbeing.
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices for spa facilities is desirable.
- Professional, courteous, and guest-focused demeanor.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
