The Graduate Programme is a dynamic opportunity underpinned around our ‘We Care’ culture designed to fast-track you in achieving a supervisory role upon completion of the programme. During the programme, you will work in one of our world-renowned hotels and will be supported by our senior leaders to develop the technical and behavioural skills aligned to becoming a hospitality specialist.

During your time as a Graduate, you will also gain exposure to an array of training material delivered by our Learning & Development team, supported through our Dorchester Collection Learning Academy. You will have the opportunity to work across our Dorchester Collection UK hotel and have 3 options to choose from: based in the town at The Dorchester or 45 Park Lane, based in the country at Coworth Park, or our extended 18-month programme, based in the town & country with accommodation support provided.

What you’ll do

  • Depending on your choice of programme, you will complete a 12 months (two six-month rotations) in an operational role in our rooms divisions or 18 months (two nine months rotation) in an operational role in our rooms divisions in both Town & Country.
  • Curate individual guest experiences through your vibrant personality and expertise, as our guests trust that you are informed and able to enhance their experience.
  • Connect with our Senior Leadership team through mentorship from the Executive Committee for networking, support and guidance to become a legendary leader.
  • Partner with our L&D team for regular 1-2-1 training and workshops to develop you into a highly skilled leader to lead and motivate teams to deliver the ultimate guest experience.
  • Participate in a variety of taskforce opportunities across Dorchester Collection and events such as Chelsea Flower Show and Royal Ascot.
  • Attend Finance and Revenue (budget and P&L), Sales, People & Culture, Corporate office and guest experience sessions as learning is the forefront of each Dorchester Collection hotel.
  • Work on specific industry and development projects including a personal focus and business focus project.
  • Attend a trip to Switzerland where you will receive a Global Management Certificate in Leading and Embracing Organizational Change from Swiss Education Group.
  • Work your way up from operational front line role to a supervisory role and graduate into a full-time permanent position at one of our three hotels.
