We are looking for a Head Housekeeper for our stunning property by Buckingham Palace. The position focuses on overlooking the housekeeping team in Hotel 41. This position reports to the Executive Head Housekeeper, who is overlooking the Rubens at The Palace Hotel, Hotel 41 and Bbar.
We are looking for someone with previous experience as an Assistant Head Housekeeper or Head Housekeeper within a four or five star hotel. Someone with excellent communication skills both verbal and written and enjoys being "hands-on" operationally with a guest centred approach who is happiest leading from the front. Someone with experience in training and developing their employees.
As a Head Housekeeper you will:
- Plan and lead monthly preventative maintenance walk-rounds.
- Personally monitor the cleanliness of bedrooms and public areas to ensure that standards are maintained.
- Recruit, train and develop the team.
- Prepare the department’s budgets within the hotels’ business plan.
- Manage cost and stock control.
- Create rotas and conduct appraisals with respective team members.
