About Us: Hotal is at the forefront of innovation in the hospitality and tech industry, dedicated to transforming how businesses engage with technology through our flagship product, Hotaly.ai. As we prepare for an exciting expansion across key cities in the UK, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Director to join our senior leadership team.

The Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hotal. This leadership position requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in managing sales teams, marketing, and finance with a strong sales background, ideally in a Head of Sales role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and a strong desire to advance to the position of Managing Director.

  • Oversee and manage the performance of senior direct reports.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive the successful launch of Hotal in key cities.
  • Utilise a hands-on approach to sales, actively participating in negotiations and closing deals.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maximise opportunities for growth and revenue.
  • Travel around the UK to our key cities.

Strong sales experience is key – ideally a background in a Head of Sales role. Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, preferably within the hospitality sector, though backgrounds in legal, beauty, or medical fields will also be considered. Demonstrated success in managing and scaling sales teams, with a strong understanding of marketing and financial principles. Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
