As we prepare for an exciting expansion across key cities in the UK, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Director to join our senior leadership team.
Position Overview: The Commercial Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hotal. This leadership position requires a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in managing sales teams, marketing, and finance with a strong sales background. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and a strong desire to advance to the position of Managing Director. While experience in scaling businesses is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of positivity, accountability, and collaboration.
- Oversee and manage the performance of senior direct reports.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive the successful launch of Hotal in key cities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, ensuring excellence in service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Utilise a hands-on approach to sales, actively participating in negotiations and closing deals.
- Champion a solutions-oriented mindset within the team, breaking down barriers and encouraging initiative across all departments.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maximise opportunities for growth and revenue.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Strong sales experience is key – ideally a background in a Head of Sales role.
- Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role, preferably within the hospitality sector, though backgrounds in legal, beauty, or medical fields will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success in managing and scaling sales teams, with a strong understanding of marketing and financial principles.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire others and drive results.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of navigating challenges and finding innovative ways to achieve goals.
