Job Purpose: To lead and manage the strategic development, financial planning, operational efficiency, and commercial performance of the business by undertaking detailed research, producing analytical reports, and implementing business improvement initiatives that support the organisation’s long-term growth. This role is professional, analytical and requires judgement, planning, and decision-making at a graduate level.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Planning: Conduct structured research and analysis to support business strategy and expansion planning. Prepare strategic business plans with short- and long-term objectives aligned to market trends and customer demand. Work with senior management to define key performance indicators and monitor performance against targets.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Undertake detailed market research to identify new business opportunities, customer segments, competitor activity, and pricing trends. Analyse findings and prepare evidence-based recommendations for business development and service improvement.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyse financial performance, including turnover, margins, costs, and budgets. Produce management accounts, monthly performance reports, and financial forecasts. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to profitability.
  • Operational Improvement and Project Management: Evaluate current operational processes and recommend enhancements to efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Lead or support project initiatives to implement business improvements.
