We are recruiting a Housekeeper/Hostel Assistant to join our dedicated, friendly and professional team at our Inverness Youth Hostel, part of the Inverness Group.
As a Housekeeper/Hostel Assistant, you will be undertaking a range of hostel duties:
- Housekeeping/Cleaning Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all rooms, public areas and toilets/shower rooms as directed
- Maintain good health and safety practices and handle chemical solutions in line with COSHH legislation
- Report all maintenance requests to your manager and log on the maintenance tracker
- Deep clean rooms and public areas as outlined by your manager and maintain cleanliness in the hostel at all times by cleaning, polishing, cleaning carpets, dusting etc.
- Reception
- Take computer reservations by telephone, email and reception
- Provide advice to hotel guests about local and national attractions
- Provide a full reception service to Hostel guests, including check in, guest registration, check out
