Hours per week: 22.5 hpw (11.00 pm – 7.00 am – Fri/Sat/Sun)
Salary: £13.45 per hour

As a Night Duty Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our night-time operation, providing overnight supervision, health and safety and security of our guests, team members and the building during the night, as well as maximizing sales opportunities through retail and drink service at night. Working alone at night, your duties include folding bedsheets and carrying them up 3 flights of stairs, walking around the building and checking the security of the hostel, dealing with disturbances, checking in guests, and performing deep cleaning tasks.
You will need a good level of management and leadership skills, experience of night working or as a night duty supervisor including fire and emergency evacuation safety procedures, and being a personal licence holder would be advantageous. You must also be physically fit and able to carry items up 90+ steps multiple times per shift. Housekeeping tasks are also required.
Your work is part of a relatively small close-knit team. It is therefore essential that all members are capable and willing to support and respect each other, maintaining team morale to create a positive environment for both guests and employees.
