Job Reference: HOMA06325 Position: Marketing Executive Location: Head Office, 7 Glebe Crescent, Stirling, FK8 2JA Contract: Permanent Start Date, TBC Hours: Full Time – 36.25 Hours Per Week Salary: £Competitive Hostelling Scotland is on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our team! If you have a passion for digital marketing, social media, content creation, and are keen to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. As a Marketing Executive, you’ll play an integral role in supporting our Marketing Manager to enhance customer acquisition and retention, promote our brand, and drive the success of our marketing campaigns. You’ll work collaboratively with various teams, external suppliers, and strategic partners to deliver engaging and effective marketing strategies. Key Accountabilities: * Support the Marketing Manager in executing key marketing initiatives to enhance customer acquisition and retention. * Manage and oversee marketing campaigns and digital marketing activities. * Drive occupancy levels through effective and compelling marketing communications. * Engage social media audiences by creating innovative content that sparks interaction. * Develop and manage website content to ensure relevance and appeal to our target audience. * Collaborate with teams across departments to deliver cohesive marketing strategies. * Work closely with external suppliers and partners to promote the hostelling experience in creative ways. * Represent Hostelling Scotland at marketing events and external meetings, championing the brand and its initiatives. * Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, optimising results based on insights. * Manage a diverse workload autonomously in a fast-paced environment. * Work with the Marketing Manager to control marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills: * Proven experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of digital marketing techniques. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written). * Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively. * Independent worker who can manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player with a strong passion for marketing. * Skilled in creative writing and content creation, with a focus on quality and engagement. * Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines. * Strong organisational and planning abilities, with an eye for detail. * Proficient in social media platforms and creating engaging content. * Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Umbraco, and Google Analytics. * Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to attend events and conferences as needed. * Willingness to travel for work-related events and meetings. * Hold a valid, clean full UK driving licence.
