About The Role As a member of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for ensuring Hostaway\’s infrastructure is secure, reliable, and continuously improving. You will work in an agile environment, proactively identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and participating in planning, provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of our infrastructure. We aim for the DevOps team to enable the rest of the engineering department by providing reliable tools that facilitate fast and correct development practices. Key Responsibilities Participate in designing infrastructure, ensuring security, and applying modern DevOps practices such as containerization, CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring. Support development teams with containerization efforts, maintaining Kubernetes clusters that are easy to use. Promote reliability across the company by improving observability, creating actionable alerts, and maintaining runbooks. Collaborate to optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery. Focus on automation to reduce manual toil and improve processes. Address critical issues like outages and misconfigurations, participating actively in incident management and continuous improvement. Job Requirements At least 5 years of experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools and methodologies. Expertise in AWS, with practical experience at scale; GCP knowledge is a plus. Extensive experience with Terraform / OpenTofu, including modules and managing multiple environments; Terragrunt is a plus. Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, Bash scripting, and security best practices. Professional experience with Kubernetes; knowledge of Helm and ArgoCD is advantageous. Strong knowledge of monitoring/logging tools and familiarity with SRE principles. Ability to understand and debug production code, with experience in scripting languages. Experience with on-call rotations and incident response in a blameless culture. Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving DevOps landscapes.
