We are seeking a highly motivated Duty Manager to lead our team of Recreation Assistants and Lifeguards to achieve consistently high standards of customer service and safety in our Sports Complex and Tennis Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shift operations, supporting the Operations Manager in developing and implementing procedures for quality, health and safety.
- Staff training, performance monitoring and management of specific administrative tasks.
- Handle emergency situations, resolve conflicts constructively and maintain calm under pressure.
- Manage the duty shift rota covering all opening hours, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of shift management, customer service, health and safety protocols, lifeguarding, line management and training.
- Qualifications in leisure management/operations (e.g., Pool Plant Operator) and health and safety certifications such as NPLQ and First Aid at Work.
- Strong communication, initiative, maturity and professionalism required.
