ABOUT THE ROLE
Saint Michaels Hospice Charity Stores are at the heart of our community. We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Volunteer to join our friendly team in our store in Boroughbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something special, supporting your local hospice while gaining valuable retail experience.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
This role would suit someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in retail or sustainable fashion, and likes being part of a busy and welcoming environment. As part of our volunteer team, you will help create a positive experience for our customers and donors by supporting with:
- Creating a welcoming and friendly shop environment
- Sorting, steaming and preparing donations for sale
- Assisting with visual merchandising and shop displays
- Supporting the team to keep the shop well-presented and stocked
