About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in checking, repairing, servicing and installing site services, machinery and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
- Experience within a similar role that includes both electrical and mechanical responsibilities
- Enjoys multi-tasking – ability to successfully manage a varied workload
- Knowledge/experience of working with PLC controls, analysing faults and providing solutions.
- Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
- Proven problem‑solving skills
- An understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings and principles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multi‑skilled team of varying levels of technical experience.
Person Specification
Successful candidates will have the passion and pride to ensure all machinery on site operates to a level to ensure work is completed on time, right first time, along with the ability to work well as a team and to promote collaborative working across the site. A proactive approach is essential to all aspects of the role, particularly with resolving problems and continuous improvement.
Hours of Work
46 hours per week, 7.00am‑5.30pm Monday to Thursday with unpaid lunch break 12.30‑1.00pm and 7.00am‑13.00pm Friday
