We’re looking for a hardworking, driven, and passionate candidate to join our team as we get set for further growth in 2026, helping our owners to maintain their high quality properties, and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service whilst staying with us. This role involves driving a company vehicle to transport Housekeepers and linen from our Durham Unit to and from our properties and scheduled tasks. In addition, you will assist with housekeeping duties, helping to clean and maintain our portfolio of properties to a high standard.
The role will also involve using mobile apps on your phone to manage daily tasks, as well as carrying out some administrative duties, including supporting the allocation and coordination of housekeeping tasks when required. Experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle. This is a part‑time role of either 16 or 25 hours per week – please specify which option you are interested in when applying. Shifts will vary in both days worked and duration, based on the needs of the business, so flexibility is essential. Ideally, you will be available to work on our main changeover days: Mondays, Fridays and Sundays, with additional weekday availability also welcomed. If you have an energetic can‑do attitude you will be an amazing fit for us. You need to be friendly, flexible and always willing to help.
Day to day duties
- Support the Housekeeping Management with the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of housekeeping on a daily basis.
- Use the company vehicle to transport Housekeeping Staff and linens to their required locations.
- Be flexible to perform ad hoc duties, as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to meet the needs of the business, including but not exclusive to Housekeeping Duties or Property Checks.
- Review property stock levels and order supplies.
- Ensure procedures, systems and checks are completed to ensure the high standards expected are being met daily.
- Supervise the work of the housekeeping and warehouse team to ensure the high standards we set are maintained.
- Respond appropriately to remedy any customer request or query that may occur in a way that is acceptable for the particular situation.
Housekeeping duties
- Thoroughly clean the properties between guests. This includes but is not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying etc.
- Change the linen between guests.
- Ensure and maintain the presentation of houses for guests and owners.
- Stock control of household basics/essentials.
- Report any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.
